
Radio Bracknell listeners are in for a real treat this Friday evening when DJ DEE presents a unique set of House , UK Funky, Tribal and Soulful House (with some R’n'b and hip hop thrown in for good measure) at 8pm on The International Showcase Hour.
Dee has been dj’ing for almost 18 years and has a vast knowledge of djing around the UK . His music influences came from the soul and rare groove era.
Dee has emerged over the last year as one of the biggest talents in the funky house scene. He has ripped up the dance floor in many a clubs and bars over the years including venue’s such as Ministry of Sound, The Regal (Oxfords new super venue) and has played alongside the biggest names in the industry including; Trevor Nelson, Rampage, Heartless Crew, DJ Spoony, Donaeo, Ironik, Dave Pearce and Matt Jam Lamont – with forthcoming events alongside DJ Pioneer (KISS FM) and supporting as DJ alongside Alexander o Neil.
MUSIKv is a series of House , UK Funky, Tribal and Soulful House mixes by DJ DEE which can relate to a younger and a fairly mature audience.
The success of MUSIKv 1 was highlighted by the pure numbers of downloads and requests for the cds. Dee has continued with these mixes and the latest MUSIKv3, showcased this Friday on Radio Bracknell, focusses on the UKFUNKY scene which has taken the UK by storm with many tunes reaching the commercial charts.
MUSIKv3 has unreleased tunes by UKFunky producers Mista Monts, Young Nate,Ill Blu, Geenus and Roska. Plus big tunes and classics from Donaeo, Princess Nyah and Boy Better Know.
In August this year, DJ Dee releases MUSIKv4 The House Edition (Keep it Funky) which will be reviewed on Radio Bracknell (www.radiobracknell.com).
